We decided to do an early Birthday Party for Kayla before we leave for California. It was a good time with just family. We didnt want anything huge but we did it before we left so people could give her money for out in California. Since she doesnt really need any other clothes or toys it works out good haha. We will be having our own party for her on her birthday with daddy and I so that will be fun as well. It is getting close...only 16 more days till we see him!!!!

Brandon got promoted to Captain this morning at 0800 Iraq time which was midnight last night for us. We are so Proud of him! He got to have his buddy Maj T pin him so he was very happy about that. I dont have all the pics yet but he will be sending me more. Its pretty funny cause this is his second promotion and he has been in Iraq for both of them...hopefully we will get to see his next one haha.

We have been pretty busy just doing stuff with family and friends. Besides having fun with a new baby in the house which is awesome...Kayla and I have been to the lake and to a bonfire with some friends on our business team. We have also been to the Grabel Fair which was very fun but of course I forgot my camera there but it was Kayla's first fair. We also got to go visit with my mom's side of the family because of Baby Olivia and my cousin, Marshall's birthday. We have had a lot of fun and I know I am missing some things but that is usual haha. Brandon is doing very well and we actually got to talk to him today. He has a new address now so if you would like that just let me know. He will be getting promoted to Capt here in the next week or two and cant wait to get back to cali for his leave. Kayla's Godfather, Greg, should be getting back from Iraq today or tomorrow so we are very excited to have him back in the states, we cant wait to see him. Hope you are all doing very well and we hope to see everyone soon.
