just happy daddy is home

Brandon surprised us on Tues by coming home early! He told me that Greg was going to deliver my Anniversary gift and he brought me a box and said I had to help unload the other half of my present, when we went outside Brandon got out of the truck! We were so surprised and so excited! I was hoping that that would happen but didnt think it actually would cause you know it is the military. Kayla is very happy all she wanted for Christmas was her daddy and God brought him home safe to us! Thank you everyone for your prayers and thoughts that kept him safe while he was over there. He will now be home for at least 3 years without going back to war so that will be very nice. We will be moving in March to Kentucky and cant wait to be closer to family and some of our friends but we will sure miss the nice weather out here. As for the other present that I didnt open for a while cause I was so sidetracked, Brandon got me a beautiful diamond necklace that I will have to get a picture of. Also on our anniversary we went out and bought a dirt bike for us to share so we have had a fun week. These pictures are some that we have taken since he has been home. Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years and we will be thinking of you all.

only 3 cm
so tiny

so here are the pics

1st Doctor Visit

I just got back from the doctors about an hour ago and it went very well. I am 11 weeks today and doing good. Kayla went with me cause we were hoping to hear the heartbeat but unfortunatly couldnt cause the baby kept moving around. We did however get our first ultrasound so that was very cool and kayla got to see the baby. The baby is still very little only about 3 cm long right now so not too much to look at but next apt we will get another one and be able to see what sex the baby is...very excited about that! Just wanted to give you all an update...i am feeling alot better and getting less tired so that is also good. I will have to post the ultrasound picture later because I dont have a scanner but I will get it up there.

Kayla and I went and got our first family Christmas tree on black friday and got it all decorated. We also got our lights up outside and what little decorations we have. Its hard to believe it is Christmas time here cause everything is so green and the temp is still like 70...totally different than what we are used to...not complaining at all though. Kayla has been having fun with our neighbor boy Brady who is close to her age, they have become good friends. I am still trying to overcome my morning sickness and am doing pretty good. We had a great Thanksgiving with friends over at Nate and Deanna's and I was actually able to eat quite a bit which was nice. We havent done too much but are trying to stay busy and have fun. Brandon is doing good also just staying busy and getting sick of being over there haha. He will be home somewhere around the 15th of Jan so that will be nice. I go to the doc again on the 11th so I will let you all know how that goes.

PREGNANT!!!!!

For those of you that have not heard, we will be having another baby! I am due July 3rd. I found out on the 1st of this month but just went to the doctor for my 1st visit. We are all very excited! Kayla is already doing good with it and having fun talking about having a new baby sister or brother. Brandon will be coming home middle of January now so he will miss all my morning sickness....I wish I could escape it! I have been feeling ok but food just doesnt sound good and I have had a little nausea but nothing like with Kayla. I am really excited because I am pregnant with two of my good freinds who I wont name until later because they have not told family and friends yet and also with my cousin Melissa who is out here. We are all pretty close, Melissa is 3 months ahead of us but I am excited we will all have kids the same age. I will keep you posted on how things are going and definantly will post belly pics when that time comes. Talk to you all very soon.

Ok so I got the pictures from Chris of us in Vegas. It was a lot of fun even though we were only there for 2 days. We stayed at the Circus Circus Hotel which was fun and there was so much to do there but we didnt get to do that much. We went to a dirt bike race the whole 1st day there, kayla's 1st one and she loved it. The 2nd day we met up with Chris and he gave us a nice tour of the strip. We walked from one end down to the other going in the cool places to see. We got to the end and it was late so we took the monarail back so we only got to see one side of the strip but thats ok we had so much fun and we will be going back. We did go and see the lions at the MGM but we didnt get any pics unfortunatly...the male was the only one we saw and he was so cool. We walked through this tunnel that was made of glass and he was up on top sleeping so we got to see him good. The only suggustion I have for those of you that go with children...take a stroller and use it haha. Kayla did very well but we left her stoller in the car so we either had to carry her or she walked, very tiring.

Brandon got to come home for 2 weeks and just left to go back to Iraq a couple days ago. Kayla and I flew out to Cali to meet him and we had such a wonderful time. Kayla went right to him and gave him big hugs and just loved having him home. The day he got back we got a phone call saying they had houses available for us on base so once again our plans changed haha. After a little thought we decided to go ahead and move back to Cali and after going to Vegas for a couple days we flew home to Indiana, all of us, and we stayed there for about 4 days to see everyone and then loaded up the truck and dogs and headed back to Cali. We got back out here 2 days before Brandon had to take back off so he got a little relaxation. Not exactly how we planned on spending his leave but we had a great time because we got to be a family. We love our house and Brandon made it safely back to Iraq. I have been working my butt off getting the house unpacked. Kayla loves being out here and we have had fun with our friends and my cousin who is about 4 months pregnant and we also have awesome neighbors. We will be out here till Brandon gets home which now will be BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!!! We are so excited! He has to report into Louisville on the 1st of April so we will be out here till at least the end of January. We will not be coming home for Thanksgiving or Christmas which stinks but we already have plans with friends out here. Hope all of you are doing good and hope you enjoy the pics from our vacation. I will have to post the ones from Vegas later because goofy me forgot our camera for that whole trip and I have to get the ones from our friend Chris that he took. Talk to you all soon!
